About our practice

Pubillule is a small, independent consultation practice based in Pikeville, Kentucky. We explain trading platforms to the people who have to use them.

🌱 Origin

Why this practice exists

Pubillule began with a repeated observation. People who were perfectly capable of managing a household budget, running a small business, or reading a mortgage contract were nonetheless bewildered by the software they had just signed up to use for trading. The problem was rarely intelligence and almost never effort. The problem was that platform interfaces are built for users who already know the vocabulary, and the documentation that would teach that vocabulary is scattered across help centres, footnotes and fee schedules that almost nobody reads end to end.

We decided to make that reading our job. Instead of teaching people to predict markets, which nobody can do reliably, we teach them to operate their chosen tools accurately and to know exactly what each action costs. It is unglamorous work, and it is genuinely useful.

🧠 Principles

Four commitments that shape every session

These are not marketing slogans. They are operating rules that decide what we accept, what we decline, and how we speak to clients.

🧭

Independence before revenue

We accept no commission, referral fee or rebate from any trading platform, broker or software vendor. Our only income is the fee our clients pay us directly. That is the single structural reason we can compare platforms honestly, and we will not trade it away.

💭

Plain language, always

If an explanation requires jargon, the jargon gets defined first. We write notes the way we would want a contract written for us: short sentences, no hidden conditions, and an honest statement whenever something is uncertain or outside our competence.

🔒

Your access stays yours

We never ask for platform passwords, one-time codes or account access. During guided setup you hold the keyboard and we explain each step aloud. This is inconvenient occasionally, and it is the correct way to protect a client.

⚖️

Honest limits

We are not a broker, dealer, exchange or registered investment adviser. We do not forecast prices, manage portfolios or promise outcomes. When a question falls outside our remit we say so and point toward a licensed professional instead of improvising.

🏠 Where we are

Based in Pikeville, serving clients across the United States

Our office sits at 107 Willow Dr in Pikeville, KY 41501. Most consultations happen by telephone or video call, which lets us work with clients in any United States time zone while keeping the practice small enough that the person who answers the phone is the person who prepares your notes. Enquiries reach us at (606) 639-4057 or [email protected] between 9:00 and 18:00 Eastern Time, Monday to Friday.

Correspondence is handled by Braylon Dragon, who also coordinates scheduling. If you write outside business hours you will normally have a reply on the next working day, and we will tell you honestly if a request needs longer than that.

👥 Who we work with

Three kinds of client, one method

🌱

Complete beginners

People who have not opened an account yet and want to understand the landscape, the costs and the risks before committing anything. We spend most of this time on vocabulary, fee structures and realistic expectations.

🔄

Platform switchers

Existing users moving between platforms who need to know which habits transfer and which will now cost them money. Order-type differences and data subscription terms cause most of the surprises here.

💼

Small teams

Firms and study groups that want consistent internal procedures so that every member operates the same software the same way. We deliver written conventions the group can actually enforce.

📜 In closing

What you can reasonably expect from us

You can expect a consultant who has read the documentation before the call, who answers questions without steering you toward a product, and who writes down what was agreed. You can expect a fixed fee quoted before work begins, with no success charge and no percentage of anything. You can expect us to state clearly when a topic is outside our competence.

You should not expect predictions, signals, managed accounts or guarantees, because those are either impossible or illegal for a practice of our type to provide. Trading carries a substantial risk of loss, and a well-configured platform reduces avoidable mistakes without removing market risk. That distinction is the honest centre of everything we do, and if it sounds like the kind of help you want, the next step is a short conversation.
